In February we will be starting a knit-along! Join us to knit or crochet a toy cat on February 9 and 23. If you can’t make it, we will be posting instruction here and on our Facebook page.
Bring your yarn and needles, folks, to Knit Wits, the library’s knitting and crochet club. Crafting has been proven to improve your mental health, and crafting with friends is thought to increase those benefits*. So whether you’re knitting or crocheting, come de-stress for an hour with us.
Don’t know how to knit or crochet? No problem. We will teach you.
Don’t know what to make? No problem. We will have project suggestions from several different charities that accept handmade items.
Don’t have any supplies? No problem. The library has needles, hooks, and yarn that you can use. If you don’t finish a project during the hour, store it here and finish it next month.
Knit Wits meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month at 4:00 pm in the new Creative Space behind the Adult Information Desk.
