Why Do The Chinese ‘Steal’ Intellectual Property?

Guang Yang, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Marketing, University of Lynchburg

In his talk, Professor Yang will share his insights into the ongoing trade war between the United States and China, the two most powerful economies in the world. He will discuss the underlying reasons for the clashes on intellectual property rights from cultural, social, economic, historical, and political perspectives. Tentative measures which could serve as starting points to alleviate the intensity of these conflicts will be suggested
